Terms & conditions
Draft for review. Last updated: 26 September 2026.
1. Who you are dealing with
These terms govern inquiries, quotations and orders placed with Taunor, operated by [LEGAL NAME], [TAX ID], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("the House"). By requesting a quotation or confirming an order you accept them.
2. Catalogue and prices
The website presents pieces for information; it is not an online shop with a checkout. Prices shown as "From" are indicative starting prices in euros, [including / excluding] VAT, and depend on stones, metal, size and finish. "Price on request" pieces are quoted individually. Every order is confirmed in writing with a final price before any work begins.
3. Bespoke commissions
- Consultation: we discuss your idea, budget and timing without obligation.
- Quotation and deposit: we send a written quotation. Work starts once you approve it and pay a deposit of [50%] of the price.
- Design approval: you approve sketches and a 3D model before production. Changes after approval may alter the price and lead time; we will tell you before proceeding.
- Production and balance: the balance is due before delivery. Lead times are estimates and typically run six to ten weeks from design approval.
Because bespoke pieces are made to your specification, the deposit covers stones purchased and work carried out; it is not refundable once production has started.
4. Ready pieces
Pieces from the collection may be ordered in your size and metal. Payment is by bank transfer against invoice unless otherwise agreed.
5. Delivery and risk
See our Delivery page. Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check the parcel on receipt and tell us within [48 hours] of any damage.
6. Right of withdrawal and returns
If you are a consumer in the European Union buying a non-personalised piece at a distance, you may withdraw within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason, provided the piece is unworn and returned in its original condition with all certificates and packaging. Return shipping is at your cost unless the piece is faulty.
Bespoke, personalised, engraved or resized pieces are made to your specification and are excluded from the right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. This does not affect your legal guarantee rights.
7. Warranty and care
See our Warranty page. Statutory guarantees under applicable consumer law always apply.
8. Intellectual property
Designs, drawings, 3D models, photographs and texts remain the property of the House. Commissioning a piece does not transfer rights in its design.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the price paid for the piece concerned.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY]. Consumers may also rely on the mandatory rules of their country of residence and on the EU online dispute resolution platform.
