How a bespoke ring is made
From the first sketch to the final polish: the five stages every commission goes through.

Every commission follows the same five stages. What changes is the person at the centre of them.
1. Consultation
We start with a conversation, in person or online: the occasion, the person who will wear the ring, the budget, and the references you love or want to avoid. Nothing is decided yet.
2. Stone selection
We source two or three candidate stones within your budget and compare them side by side, on paper and in the hand. Certificates tell part of the story; the way a stone holds light tells the rest.
3. Design
Sketches come first, then a precise 3D model. You see the ring from every angle and approve proportions, setting height and band width before a gram of gold is cast.
4. Production
The model is cast in the chosen metal, cleaned, assembled and polished. The centre stone is set last, by hand, and every prong is checked under magnification.
5. Delivery
The finished ring is photographed, valued for insurance and delivered fully insured, in our signature box, wherever you are.
